LETTING CHARGES 2020

         General hall letting charge (18m x 9m)                

   £22 per hour      

Rate reduction for Great Limber residents - £18

**Deposit £70 (Village rate £50 - see below)

 

Meetings committee room (3m x 3m)£14.00 per hour

(£12.00 per hour village rate)

Marquees (10m x 3m) £60 each* (no time limit)

Bar (one off payment) £75.00

Disco Hire £50* - with D.J. £100*

(*Marquee & Disco hire same price for residents and non residents)

Caravans 2022-23 prices

£7 per unit, per night

Use of Village Hall for caravans £67 per day opened at Midday on day of arrival.

 

Dog Training £12

 

Equipment such as chairs and tables can be hired from the hall - £5 per table; £1 per chair - hirer to collect and return.

**DEPOSIT  An £70 (£50 village rate) deposit is required within 5 days of all bookings. Failure to forward the deposit will void the booking. The deposit is required to cover cancellation and loss or damage and will be refunded after each event.

 

     All balances must be paid for in full one month prior to  the function.

    To ensure a refund of the deposit due to cancellation, notice must be received at least 30 days prior to the booking.

    Responsibility for any loss, damage or breakages will rest with the hirer and must be paid for in full.

    WHEN THE HALL IS HIRED A 'HIRING AGREEMENT' FORM MUST BE READ AND SIGNED BY THE HIRER 

FACILITIES

The hall is available for anyone who wishes to hire the hall generally between the hours of 6a.m. and 12.00p.m. The hire of the hall includes access to the kitchen area (including the use of the cooker, microwave and water boiler) and the grounds immediately around the hall. There is also a smaller committee room available for hire on request. 

Anyone who wishes to use the area surrounding the hall needs to be aware that all proceedings must be moved inside the hall and the doors closed by 11p.m.

Also available on request are: 

  • 24 tables (6ft x 2ft 6ins.)

  • 140 stacking chairs; cutlery and crockery

  • fully licensed bar

  • We also have 2 marquees/tents that can be hired (please email glvh2021@gmail.com) for details

  • Available on request is a large events field (at the discretion of the committee)

  • There is a stage for bands/ entertainment to perform

  • PA - disco equipment is also available for hire

Data protection policy

 

This document explains the policy of Great Limber Village Hall for protection of any personal data it collects and uses.

  

We will only collect the minimum amount of personal data necessary for the purpose for which it has been/is being given. Personal data includes names, addresses, email addresses, phone numbers etc. When we collect data, we will tell people we are making a note of it and that, if they have any query about how we might use the information, there is a privacy statement on our website.

 

We will keep any personal data securely. So electronic data will be protected by a password (either on the file or the computer on which it is held). Paper records will be held under lock and key (eg in locked house or cabinet).

 

Personal data given to us won’t be passed on to anyone outside the village hall organisation without the subject’s consent.

 

We won’t use personal data for any purpose other than that for which it was given, without the consent of the subject.

 

And we won’t keep it for any longer than we need it either for the original use or to allow for proper audit of our finances. If we need to retain some information for historical records or statistical purposes, we will remove any identifying personal data.

We will only use personal information you have given us to manage the hall’s facilities and to administer hall bookings. We might also need to keep some data about any contractors who work for us. We will only collect the basic data (such as names and contact details) we need to do those things. And we won’t keep it for any longer than we need it, either for the original use or to allow for proper audit of our finances.

 

We won’t pass on your data to any organisation outside the groups running the village hall, unless obliged to do so by law.
